Thousand Teeth Temu and Similar Mechanics
When calculating the damage you reflect on block, could the damage on block be just 1 or do we calculate the damage the same way we do weapon dps without the APS? The way I'm reading it is the damage is always 1 and then it could roll a 2-1000 for a total of 3 or 1.5 damage reflected if it rolled a 2. (1+2 = 3 / 2 etc)
Also, when using advancing fortress, does the reflected damage to melee attackers only apply if you're actually hit? Or can this damage be applied with blocking too? Can it also proc if I'm just being swung at? The wording doesn't specify I have to actually be hit but the enemy has to be a melee attacker, so I believe I could also just hit them and if they are a melee attacker I do X amount of damage? Thanks for anyone who can help me out, I'm trying to come up with something interesting here. Last bumped on Aug 29, 2017, 7:20:13 PM

Thousand Teeth Temu literally says it Reflects 1-1000 Damage. It does exactly that. This is no different from weapons: Storm Cloud can deal 1 Lightning Damage.
Attacks that are Blocked still have Hit you, they just deal zero Damage, and will trigger Reflect. Reflect only happens when you take a Hit, you don't Reflect Damage by hitting someone over the head. |

Thank you, I guess I was giving an average damage number because In my mind the dice rolls twice for a damage roll.
