Killed Abaxoth, the End of All That Is, how rare is this guy?

Don't think I've ever encountered him but then a random low tier red map I was running for fun happened

Strange. Multiple 90+ characters and beyond is pretty much my favorite mod throughout the years. Must be extremely unlucky then.

I have seen that guy twice in my entire play time and both times in standard.

The same. 2 times. In legacy was my first meet-up - even it was in HC, I managed to kill him. Second time - few weeks before, in Harbinger league day 2: but my FT witch was too week to kill him in T2 map :(

It's rare. Very. I playing PoE for ... 5 years now.

I've only encountered him twice in 900 hours of gameplay. Both times, I was way too underleveled/underpowered to defeat him by myself. First time was my first character I took to maps and he fucking decimated me. I had no idea what it was.

I feel like I get him a handful of times (maybe 3 to 4) per league, doing double-beyonded maps. You know its him because you get the Flameblasts AND the Stormcalls AND the Ice Spears all at once, in addition to that weird black smog effect.

A beyond leaguestone on Mao Kuhn (or however you spell it) usually got him to spawn a couple times per map.

Sadly those days are beyond us.

didn't fight him. not sure I can if Haast melts most of my characters, and he is Haast's dad.

I've spawned him several times since and I don't play that much. Just roll the maps appropriately and sextant them. I can recommend high pack size, double Beyond with maybe extra monsters and/or Sea Witches and their spawn.

That's how you spawn Beyond bosses. But how many of those are Abaxoth versus how many Haast did you get? Abaxoth honestly feels like a 1-2% chance. I didn't see him once in Legacy league despite running double beyond all day. I've seen him maybe 5 times total throughout all leagues.

Coincidentally, he was the very first Beyond boss I got this league at level 70 in a T1 map and he freaking destroyed me, think I died 3 times to him. The joys of no leech builds (of course my garbage gear didn't help).

Without looking I encountered him once within 4 days of play.
