How do i combine harbinger item pieces?

How do i combine harbinger item pieces to get a full harbinger item? I got 3 different pieces of Imperial Staff, and tried to vendor them, but vendor only offered me 3 scroll fragments.

Just order them correctly in your inventory, and it should transmute automatically.
(the description does mention you have to arrange them correctly :P )

I am gonna bump this thread.

Currently I have tried to gather both the quiver, sword and staff and nothing seems to be working.

I put the items in an empty stash tab (I have also tried my inventory) and try to put the separate items next to each other in a way that seems somewhat plausible. So far - no luck.

Anyone got more info on this? Could someone just draw all 6 solutions or make a video :D? I am tired of clicking pieces around.
Well, the pieces must lie in your inventory in a way that correctly depicts the shape of the final item. That shouldn't leave too many combinations then :D
Ps:
Quiver is that strange band on top, the other parts right under it
Sword is the parts of the blade next to each other and the handle under them.
Both have to be in the same 2x3 shape that the outcome has.
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

ahhh 2x3. Hmmm doesn't seem very intuitive but cool cool. Got it in my first try.

I thought that having the item arranged in the shape that they'll have in the end is the most intuitive... everything else didn't quite make sense to me o_o

the 2x3 part doesn't seem intuitive :) Try it with the staff. If you really wanted to combine the parts in a way that resembles the staff it's more like... I dunno. 3 x 6 or something.
