A hundred crashes after patches today--SOLVED

Just cant join more than one instance since the patches. Europe (no idea others).
I keep crashing to login screen everytime.

US here and I've crashed 3 times in 15 minutes. During the time I've actually been able to play it's been laggy as well.

This is weird since I haven't had any issues with this game until after this recent patch.

Same here. Once again the game is unplayable at the moment for me yet I watch streamers running Maps at the same time.I get through like 1/4 of the map then start rubberbanding then its gg . Wasted 2 maps so far in last 20 mins . Better luck tmro . May not be a safe time to level when the game runs like this garbage

I have also had it crash about 8 times since patching less than an hour ago.

Try renaming your Client.exe to poe.exe. A buddy of mine was having a similar problem, I asked him to do this and he has not had any disconnection problems since. I have read this is a problem with nvidia cards.

Please post if this worked for you.

Having the same issue, every time I try to load a different zone I get DC'd.

Yeah it happens a lot, but just yesterday since the patches. Just every 2-3 instances (just like in the old olddays of closed beta). I have benn playing this game with no problems since many months, until yesterday.

I changed from Europe to America, and problem was solved. The latency was a bit insane, but no more crashes for me.


So it looked server-related to Europe, after the patch of yesterday.

I will check today, Im not saying the problem persists, just talking about yesterday. Cant use the game atm so I will update whencan lok into it.



EDIt: The problem persist today in Europe. Game unplayable in Europe (continue carshing after each zone), and if I try another server, the latency is insane. Also the latency is poor when Europe works. This latency problem is since 3-4 days, plenty of spikes also.


I played the game for months without problems before. I even crash while logging, in almost every time, since tonight patches.




CLARIFICATION: when I say "crash", I'm refering to go to authomatic logout and going to log screen.

I cant check the thing you are saying, because I cant go into an instance.
I explain the process only happens in Europe:

1) I try to login.
2) It freezes for about 45 secods
3) Login didnt work.
4) I try to login again.
5) Login is very fast this time.
6) I select one character.
7) The game goes to log screen again.
8) I try to login.
9) It freezes for about 45 seconds.
10) Login didnt work
11) I rey to login again
12) Login works, very fast.
13) I select the character
14) This time the game enter, but the selected character is not the one I choosed.
15) If I enterone area, then logout.
16) back to 1)


More or less this is what happens if I tried Europ server, since last patch. Ocasionally I CAN play with the character I choose, but then the game logout again after 1-2 instances max.



In America I played for about 1 hour and no problems (other than high latency).
