Steam account linked, everything is now gone

Relatively new player here. Yesterday I merged my Steam account with my POE account. My characters, currency, and all the in game shop items I purchased are now gone. Yesterday I sent an email as we're supposed to do, but I haven't heard anything back.
My highest character is only around level 40, so I don't care about my characters as much as I do all the in game shop items I've paid for. I've spent at least $200 on pets, tabs, and supporter packs. The supporter packs were the reason I merged accounts, so I could upgrade them. Is this something that can be fixed? Does anyone know how long it might take? I am so bummed about this. If I had known this would happen, I would have never merged. Last bumped on Aug 20, 2017, 8:50:21 AM

Support are very busy, but don't worry - they can help you with this. :) There's more information linked to from my signature if you're interested. Imagine the lack of introspection that would be required to spend your spare time telling people they’ve posted in the wrong section of an internet forum, only to then try accusing someone else of brown-nosing.

support@grindinggear.com email them is the only option, so going to be monday at earliest it is fixed. Same boat wanted to get a supporter pack and linked steam in case it is directly added to my account and not a activation code, now stuck.
