Steam account linked, everything is now gone

Relatively new player here. Yesterday I merged my Steam account with my POE account. My characters, currency, and all the in game shop items I purchased are now gone. Yesterday I sent an email as we're supposed to do, but I haven't heard anything back.

My highest character is only around level 40, so I don't care about my characters as much as I do all the in game shop items I've paid for. I've spent at least $200 on pets, tabs, and supporter packs. The supporter packs were the reason I merged accounts, so I could upgrade them.

Is this something that can be fixed? Does anyone know how long it might take? I am so bummed about this. If I had known this would happen, I would have never merged.

support@grindinggear.com email them is the only option, so going to be monday at earliest it is fixed. Same boat wanted to get a supporter pack and linked steam in case it is directly added to my account and not a activation code, now stuck.
