High Latency (Australian Gateway)

Anyone else experiencing high latency to the australian servers? I'm on Optus (in NSW) and usually get around 30ms ping, but currently getting 70-80ms ping minimum. Trace route to servers show constant timeouts on hop 3 and 4. I'm suspecting it's ISP related, was just wondering if anyone else on Optus (or other ISP) can confirm they are experiencing the same issue.
