Berserker Leap Slam marauder - Low Life Blood Rage

Hi,
i plan to actualy play on low life marauder when i get one of Kaom's Heart plates.
Until then i checked how this playstyle would work for me and im quite impressed.
Got aroung 3500 HP pool which drops to 1200 to get low life effect.
I guess should hit around 2500 with Kaom's, which is enough for me.

For this build i go very defensive with all auras needed, barely 9 dps nodes.

Dps around 6300 on Leap Slam, Armour 18000, 40000 with flask.
Resistances with lvl 17 Purity 78% (hope they hit to 80% with max Purity).

Passive tree:

As you can see used 2 points in weapon elemental dmg - fastest way to get life nodes.

Gear:


Skill Link: Leap Slam + Melee Dmg + Faster Attacks + Blood Magic + Item Quantity.

Blood Magic have cool effect: on quality gives attack speed on low life.

This playstyle reminds me destroyer on frenzy from l2... :)

updated, my gear is quite good, im using as much item quantity as i can find on items.

yeah quite often, its annoying :/

have to try this build with Starkonja's Head... 50% more evasion and 50% less dmg would be insane i guess.

I think the 'less dmg' part is not about less dmg taken but about DOING less dmg, so not so insane...

Fair play for trying a melee spec but I think you may need some help with this one.

Firstly, get rid of the dropping to low life idea. You wont survive anything at decent map levels. You can do this with a kaom's heart and when all your other gear is top level, but I don't see the point really - You'd be much better off using the kaom's without dropping to low life and sticking on magic finding gear. The extra hp will carry you through the loss of other stats from the magic find gear.

You've missed too many good nodes that are right next to you as stated already. Why would you not want +5 to all max resistances for example. I suggest checking my spec 'Largemidgets Leap slam buff thief' guide for an end game leap slam spec that is probably the strongest melee spec.
