Sweep build question

So I haven't played in a long time, I've read some of the patch notes, didn't see anything too shocking but I've heard that AOE got nerfed or something, I started to do a sweep leap crit kind of build.

Right now I'm scared, do I need to change my direction because sweep is so bad or I'm going to be fine?

Sweep is not the most powerful nor popular skill atm, but it certainly can be good. How you do it is more important than what skill you choose.

the AoE change was that the mods no longer scale radius directly, they scale area instead. so stacking lots of it is little effective. Some skills gain +base radius with level to compensate it a bit. Sweep gets +4 to radius at lvl 20, for total 30 base radius.

Do you think this build is still viable?

It's old and I've heard Abyssus is getting nerfed or something, I really like this build, as a newcomer it's simple enough for me to understand but I hope I can still achieve something with it end game.
