[Beta for 3.0] MoM Phys Crit EK Nova Miner Saboteur (w/ Ring of Blades)

Important: Just a basic template idea on the build I've been playing for fun in the 3.0 Fall of Oriath Beta. This isn't min-maxed, but rather, aims to provide a foundation for people interested in the build, to build it in slightly different ways. You might swap X support gem while another guy might take Y cluster of nodes instead.



First time playing Mines and first time playing Saboteur. Experimented a lot with respecs (Testing just Acro, Phase Acro, EB, MoM, etc) to find the playstyle I enjoyed. Early on, I found Ring of Blades unique jewel (EK turns into Nova) so I decided to try something hipster. Thus, EK Nova Mines build was born (yes it's hipster). Currently using a 6-off 6L Armour that I found in a Vaal Winds Map, so I've adjusted some gem links. Damage numbers will be higher as EK/Support gems level into 19 and 20.

Premise of the build:

For general pack-clearing, you drop one or two triplets of Minefields, and instantly detonate them. The damage from Crit and the Pierce from the new Pierce rework should be enough to destroy packs. In higher tiers of Maps, open with a Smoke Mine or two to proc Arcane Surge.

For non-rippy bosses, maintain a constant smoke cloud (and Arcane Surge buff) with Smoke Mine and just dump all of your mana to quickly burst the boss down.

For rippy bosses, kite with Mines all the way back to the start of the Map and pray Chris buffs Saboteur.

Feel free to throw in a Blasphemy + Vuln/Enf/Temp Chains if your MoM can handle it. Keep in mind that your character doesn't benefit from on-hit effects nor kill effects from Curse Auras, so stuff like Blasphemy + Ass Mark / Warlord's Mark / Poacher's Mark won't work

(The reason why you see 4 corrupted items is because 4 items from a Vaal Winds Map were an upgrade for me.)

Apart from that, for Rare Jewels, mainly just Life + Physical Damage and whatever else tickles your fancy. Proj Speed, double Res, etc.

Leveling:

Honestly, not sure. I had leveled with Fire Nova Mines, then switched to Shock Nova Mines. Shortly after I found Ring of Blades around level 50, where I did a full respec. Just level with EK I guess.

bump, added 20 Quality to Ethereal Knives. Check the streamable to see how big the new AoE is
3.4k health, 3 Life flasks and no way to leech? I know it's hard to push a somewhat decent pool on the right side of the tree but it's not looking so good for survivability with this build.

How is your single target on map bosses? If you could post a gif/video of that, it'd be nice to see.

Should be 4-5K after good gear + Witch Life passives. In the .gif, I haven't gotten the Witch life yet btw. As for leech, it's a Mine build.

Single target on bosses is fairly good, though it could be better. Hard to tell where it'll finalize, considering they have doubled Map boss HP in the Beta.
Taking a glance at your skill tree, i can see you have a wasted point near the power charge on the right side of the tree. If you instead path from the spell crit cluster directly to the power charge, you will save one point (take the path which connects to ghost reaver). Also id highly recommened taking the crit multi instead of crit chance in the spell crit cluster as multi is a huge damage boost over crit chance.
Any update on this build. ? ? Gear updates please?
