TL;DR: The scope of 3.0?

Hey,

(context: I came back to the game during 2.6)

I'm wondering how much influence this expansion will have on my day to day endgame play. To be honest, I fail to get hyped for I don't see so much as to warrant a primary version number change.

We get a new act + revised versions of all 5 acts => This is actually nice but it only influences the leveling process, right?

The pantheon system doesn't look like much, losing the leaguestone system for it sounds like a downgrade to me.

Balance changes, well.. bye bye ES-gear, hello life-gear, doesn't matter in a fresh economy.

Some new items.. best case scenario we get some new build defining stuff like HoWA.

What am I missing?

I really dont see endgame changing all that much
