Utility gem link setups
Despite this thread being about my own need for gem setups, I hope this discussion will produce setups everyone can find useful, so I'll keep it in Gameplay.
Long story short, I've a few spare 4links (namely all of them) on my HCSSF Blade&Board Eva/Es trickster and I can't quite come up with effective and comfortable gem setups. " Last bumped on Jun 22, 2017, 10:19:39 PM

I didn't like Blade Vortex for utility last time I tried it. Orb of Storms on the other hand I use for my on hit utility in nearly all my builds. It's pretty fast to cast, lasts pretty long, rerolls critical chance per zap, and sources from your character rather than a proxy like a totem would.
So... maybe something like OoS, Blind, PCoC, Faster Casting? 3B1G might be a pain to colour, though. On nearly all my melee characters I use Frenzy linked to Fortify as my left click. Absolutely amazing for any player who enjoys skill rotations. Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

Hey,
so i didnt play the game for a few years and only recently came back so my suggestions might not be optimal or even viable, but my two old school ways of applying blind are: 1. Skelli Brotem Summon skellis + spell totem + blind ( + melee splash) The skellis block space and blind. 2. Herald of Lightning HoL + Blind Easy blinds [Beyond] Hajhji/MahouShoujo_Madoka

if you are running blasphemy + curse(s) it might be a good idea to also run a cwdt+enfeeble/temp chains somewhere. that way enemies in close range get cursed by your blasphemy setup and enemies out of range get cursed by enfeeble until you deal with them.
cwdt + golem always a good idea because they die all the time anyway. cod + portal. softcore style! i run this two link on all my four charachters in legacy league. soon also on number five. got tired of dying at the end of a map and having to run back all the way from the beginning. besides the infamous cwdt+immortal call i don't really run anything else. |
