Performance is terrible

This game used to run somewhat smoothly in Breach league, now I never get more than 20 fps. Game also crashes frequently. I have tried all sorts of different combinations of graphics settings. Dx 9/9ex/11, multithreading on/off, shadows on/off etc.

full dxdiag would be more helpful. also if you did update drivers or run other programs alongside poe.

eventually it's worth checking the hardware with hwmonitor, temps and such if your pc suddenly blacks out under stress. might need some cleaning of fans or similar...

Yea I have tried the majority of what you suggested. Drivers all up to date, CPU / GPU temperature looks good and I can play other games just fine: Overwatch, Mass Effect Andromeda

I use TechPowerUp GPU-Z and Core Temp software to monitor the load and temperatures on my hardware. Post some logs here while you running the game for us to be able to help further.

You want to use the Sensor tab on TechPowerUp GPU.

If you run the game in Native Fullscreen it might be difficult to print that accurately so you can save the details to log instead. Temperature isn't the only thing to look for when you get low performance.

as sharky suggested, just run gpu-z and cpu-z alongside the game to see whether cpu or gpu are overloaded.
