Echo shrine and shield charge causing massive frame delay when no monsters are around

I didn't think of including the bug report number in the screenshot, but it's 3626574312.

As you can see in this image, there are major spikes in frame time :

Each spike corresponds to a shield charge, in an area with no monster nearby. A wild guess would be the Echo buff looking if any monster in the map is in range, and since no one is, it iterates through the whole map's monsters group. These delays don't occur/occur less when shield charging near monsters.

I haven't tried with other skills.
