Quick question about Shaped Stranding

Are you supposed to have Shore shaped as well? I notice that sometimes I get a Shaped Shore from the boss. Is it good to get a few Shaped Shores every now and then, or is better to only get Strands?

you can shape shore if you like. it makes no difference other than unlocking that map as a t13 that the boss might drop in a strand.

if you only wanna do strand then don't unlock anything above that.

it has been established that if the game tries to drop a t13 map and you don't have one on the atlas it will go down in tier until it finds a suitable map.
