HELP| is it worth buying Kongor's Undying Rage

I have wings of entropy http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Wings_of_Entropy with 141-292 Physical damage and 55-120 fire damage, is kongorr's undying rage worth buying http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Kongor%27s_Undying_Rage, according to the game wiki it's a big upgrade and an obvious YES, but according to poe trade the DPS of of wings of entropy is bigger (DPS=486) from Kongor's Undying Rage's DPS that equals to 433 !!!!

Kongor's Undying Rage deals entirely Physical Damage, whereas Wings deal half Fire or Chaos Damage. It's much easier to scale the full Damage of Kongor's (which can reach 470 pDPS or so, btw) than that of the Wings. On the other hand, Wings are a dual-wield weapon, which brings Block Chance and some bonus Attack Speed.
If you have a whole bunch of Physical scaling, Kongor's easily deals more Damage whilst providing less defences, and it's a little bit slower. If your tree is heavily focused on dual-wield bonuses, Wings have a pretty clear advantage. Without any information whatsoever, it's not terribly easy to tell which is definitely better. |

WoE can go up to 400 total Dps, Kongor's can go up to 474 pDps while a good RT Coronal Maul can go up to 689 pDps without hybrid mod and yes, I know that a maul is not an axe, but I'm lazy. All of this is according to Path of Building's calculations.
You would need to scale Kongor's with axe dmg, 2H dmg, AS, be pure elemental and use elemental overload, but might as well use a Lycosidae and a 1H weapon with good total Dps and do better. Kongor's provide low or niche utility and defenses compared to WoE. |
