Best body armor for ice crash slayer? Need some advice

Hi, ive finished almoust all atlas 600k+ fully buffed dps, i need to prepare for shaper etc. Im using rare 6l 1res, with some life nothing special. Need some upgrades im thinking about steel ring or better body armor what you suggest in that department? It's my first char with whom i can finish all content in this game. Thnx for any tips.

What are you asking for specifically, just a suggestion for a chest piece, or suggestions for your character. If you want suggestions for your character, you need to make your character page public so people can see your passive tree and gear.

As for good chests, it depends. If you're using a 2 handed weapon then Kaom's is pretty much always the best option for life based builds. If you're using a 1 handed weapon then Belly of the Beast is a pretty safe option. Carcass Jack is also alright, as well as a legacy Lightning Coil if you can get one. Though I'd still say a Belly is your best choice, at least when it comes to a unique chest.

So 2k+ armor, 3 res, 100+ Life is better then 40% of Physical Damage taken as Lightning Damage?
6-7ex is my money atm

its highly unlikely a rare armour will provide more survivability than a legacy coil unless you have gone crazy on armour nodes with something like a juggernaut. A coil demands a lot of lightning resist elsewhere tho, the expense of a coil usually goes beyond the coil itself to your other bits of gear trying to cap lightning with the -60% penalty. Do you think you can take the - lightning resist?

If you're looking to upgrade that 6L, you're looking to spend quite a chunk of change for something that will provide very little increase.

Don't look there. In fact, there is very little room for advancement in your character. Better gloves might help. Getting a helm enchant could too.

Belly is BIS. If you have a build that doesn't need the added 6L, then it's Kaom's. LC is a noob trap. You want that life pool, the rest is secondary. Belly gives boatloads of life, decent armor, and up to 15% all resist.

No. You want a high life pool. Rare chest is trash.

Ive done some fast calculations, with belly and rest gear the same i will get something about 5470+ life.
Its only about 500 more life... This game gives me some headache ;) Thnx for all tips.
