I have to unlock my account everytime I log in

hey guys,

every single time I log in I have to reenter my password and then get an unlock code from my email,
because poe thinks I log in from a new location.
in fact, it is always the exact same location.
it's been like that from the beginning.

quite annoying, anything I can do about it?

First the reason why: You have a dynamic IP (not static) meaning your IP address changes all the time, which is why you are going through what you are.

If you want that security feature turned off (unlock code to email) then email support at support@grindinggear.com. Do so at your own risk.

Same issue here. I´ve been in contact with the support and they offered my to switch it off.
I feel it´s too risky to do so.

But apparently they are already working on some features for the account security so you can specify yourself what kind of login you prefer.

Think they have been saying that since about the time of a soft delete/possible character restoration.

@OP, if you can use steam it is a way to bypass the very strict IP lock GGG has for the slightly wider ranged one steam uses, the down side is that steam takes quite a bit longer to patch, and that some areas steam has region locked
