Guide for newbie

Hello guys,

I don't know whether asking questions over new thread ok or not but i am gonna give a shot. If anything wrong please warn me.

I am really new to this game and i am looking for a playable build for templar. Leveling guide would be great. As far as i know changing build is really hard so if there is a build for early and late game process ( fast clear & fast level are welcomed ).

I looked up the forum over and over again but i could not understand what is going on ( mostly ).

Welcome to Path of Exile! The game is definitely overwhelming at first. Take it slow, and you'll have a very rewarding experience.

In each class's forum area (Templar/Marauder/etc), there is a list of build guides that explain how to allocate your passive points, and what gear to aim for.

I googled "poe newbie guide" and found this guide which looks like it has a bunch of good information to get you up to speed. There's also a wiki that you can use to find detailed information for skills/items/the rest.

Currently we're in the Legacy league, which is a culmination of all the past leagues. It is aimed to appeal to players that have been around for a good while, so don't feel bad if you can't make heads or tails of what's going on. Additionally, once this league ends the game is going to get a major update (version 3.0) which will radically change the game's contents, and probably have a significant impact on its mechanics.
