[Help] How to put Items on market for Sale with no Premium Tab/3rd Party Programs in PoE 2.5 & 2.6?

Hello everyone,

Can we have a more in depth guide on how to list our items for sale on trading websites absent Premium Tab or 3rd Party Programs? So when people use trading website to search for specific items, I want them to see my items there as well.

With Path of Exile 2.6 & 3.0 Patches launching very soon, I think there would be an influx of new players who would also be interested in knowing how to securely market their items on a fresh account.

The current guide isn't informative at all. It doesn't include "How to set Buyout Prices", "The necessity of Bumping Threads (should mention that 3rd party take information from this forums)", & I don't even know what else needed to be done, I'm hoping to learn as well!

How to Post Items

When you have your post open, if you look to the top left of your screen you will see your character. Clicking on it will cause a window will pop up, allowing you to choose different characters. Find the character you want (in case the item is in that characters inventory). Once it is selected you will see that characters inventory and an option to look through your stash. Your stash will look exactly like it does in game when you open it, tabs and all, including the names if you have premium stash tabs. Once you find the item(s) you want to link just click it ONCE. It will automatically link it in the post, then just close the window! You should see some code in your post, that's the item you just linked.

...

Under your thread title you will see the spoiler tag. Once you click it it will add the spoiler code. Just link your items between that code. Obviously if you want to label your spoiler you can. Here is an example

Remember to preview your item posts before you submit them!

just use procurement for maintaining your shop thread. most people do.

if you really wanna do it manually here is a howto for buyout prices.

I used Acquisition. It tells poe.trade when your shop is updated so you don't have to bump threads.

So all I need to do is make a forum post with my item & price with format from poe.trade and the website will automatically fetch my shop information whenever I bump it without requiring me to be online in game? do I also have to be logged into the forums all the time?

the way it works at the moment:

if you create a thread in the forum trade section (either manually or with procurement/acquisition), the forum parser which poe.trade runs periodically will fetch your items and add them to poe.trade's item database. the parser can find your post without you being online.

if you use a public premium tab to advertise your items for sale, when you change the tab's content, the info get's sent to external sites by ggg themselves (ggg's server offers it via a trade api stream external sites can connect to).
