Cast on Melee kill (CoMK) not working, possible bug?

Set up: CoMK (level 6) - Tempest Shield (level 1) - Blade Vortex (level 7).
Melee Skill doing the killing: shield charge I tried asking someone for help and he said it should be working and suggested I report it as a bug. CoMK doesn't have any level requirements like CwDT for example but I included the gem levels just in case. I tried running each gem separately but no matter the combination, it doesn't work. I can't trigger the skills but the skills aren't being triggered. Hope I gave enough information and it's an easy fix. Thank you! Last bumped on Jan 24, 2017, 11:45:27 PM

Oh. I just tried linking all 4 gems and it worked fine. That's lame! but thank you for replying :) PROBLEM SOLVED

Gem tooltip reads “Supported Melee Attacks will Cast a Supported Spell on Kill”. So yes, just like say Cast on Crit or Curse on Hit both the attack and the triggered spell must be supported by Cast on Melee Kill Support.
