Crafting Shavronne's Wrapping - Required item level?

I am trying to craft a Shavronne's Wrapping with an orb of chance, but I am not sure if I need to pay attention to the item level? Obviously it needs to be at least ilvl 50 to be able to get 6 sockets, but does it need to be higher in order to be able to roll this unique?

I cannot find this info anywhere.

Technically/partially incorrect.

The base item's ilvl doesn't matter when it comes to using Orb of Chances for rolling Uniques. As long as the item can be DROPPED that isnt EXCLUSIVE to specific bosses (and in the appropriate league mod), you can chance it regardless of ilvl. If you were to use a lower ilvl base, if you are successful in Chancing the Unique, the Unique will become the min-ilvl (and Use level) required.

In this current case, the minimum ilvl of an Occultist's Vestment happens so to be 62, so all your Shav Wrappings will end up min ilvl 62.

I have no idea how you're gonna find a ilvl 50 one.

Here's an example:

Say you wanted to Chance a Headhunter.

First you need to be in a Nemesis Mod map.

If you were to use a ilvl 4 Leather Belt, and you successfully Chanced it into a HH, you'll end up with a ilvl 40 HH (cause that's the min level to use a HH). If you had a ilvl 84 Leather Belt, the HH will be ilvl 84.

A lot of luck? Nah. A lot of chance orbs? Yes. A lot of scours? Oh yes. Honestly, it would probably be worth comparing the cost of a couple thousand scours+chances to the cost of an unlinked Shavs... I would almost bet it is cheaper to just buy one outright.

Use the Shavronne's wrappings divination cards. It is the most efficient way to acquire one these days.

Hell you can just use the cards, 5L sell the shavs, and get more cards until you get rolls that you want.

Shav's is not the chase unique it once was.
