Downloaded and played the Mythos open beta while waiting for the last PoE patch.
Tried Hellgate: Global too. No thanks Mythos. Or Hellgate Global either for that matter. Think I'll stay with PoE - unless it changes radically in the future. | |

It's a shame, too. The guys at Flagship had a great game in Mythos, then the 'tards at Hanbit went and tried to make it an MMO.

That's why I went after the Mythos beta. Used to play Hellgate: London too, but Hanbisoft has messed that up as well.
I know Hellgate was badly flawed but if there had been a LAN option it would have been modded by the community into a great game. Now, if you've got it, it's single player only. Pity, it was based on a great premise. | |

You know that Hellgate is "free to play" right now and it is up with the Tokyo expansion? I got tired of grinding for cash, but you need a pile of palladium to get past a certain point if you don't pay cash for the item.
It's still doable, however. I have to say that the game -is- pretty fun in groups, but I must have been distracted by Battlefield 3 or something. :) |
