Bug Reports - Sextant mod: accompanied by body guard taunt bug - Forum

The bodyguards spawned with this sextant mod will use a taunt skill that is making the player take VASTLY more than 10% increased damage. I go from taking about 6000 damage to closer to 10,000. T16 Forge of the phoenix - Can't recall every mod but one of them was boss deals 35% extra damage. Fairly sure there were no other mods to affect damage taken and definitely not -max resist. The Boss uses "phoenix firebomb" does about 6000 damage with dying sun flask up on a pathfinder with 84% maximum fire resistance on a vanilla map. Even with 35% added damage and 10% more from taunt, I should only take 7500 damage. Instead, it depleted 10,000 ES instantly. " Some precise calculations based on poeDB data: http://poedb.tw/us/mon.php?n=Guardian+of+the+Phoenix Base damage = Deals 8781 to 13172 Fire Damage Damage multiplier = 140% Base damage after damage multiplier = 21074.4 to 31612.8 fire damage Max fire resistance = 84 Damage taken at most = 5058.048 Damage taken with 35% damage = 6828.3648 Damage taken with 35% damage and taunt = 7511.20128 Phoenix was about 80% life and I am still maximum resistances even with the -50 fire resistance debuff so at worst I was at 82% instead of 84% fire resistance. There is no way a single firebomb could have killed me unless the taunt was adding vastly more than 10% increased damage taken. My dying sun flask was up. I will record the event the next time I run into this sextant mod for further validation.
