Password Reset Email Not Arriving For Yahoo! Mail - Fixed

I was having issues with the password reset emails not being delivered to my Yahoo! Mail account. After waiting and waiting and talking to GGG support via email to no avail I tried something that I think solved the problem.

It also seems to have solved the problem for another Yahoo! Mail user on reddit who was having the same issue so hopefully it may work for others.

The solution I came up with was adding "support@grindinggear.com" to my Yahoo! Mail contacts in the hope that having them in my email contacts might help the password reset emails be delivered. (Yes, I was checking my spam folder and they weren't showing up).

When I tried doing a password reset after adding support@grindinggear.com to my Yahoo Mail address book the reset email showed up right away.

I can't say for sure that this isn't coincidence but the fact that I and another Yahoo! Mail user had it work for us I thought it was worth sharing for other Yahoo! Mail users who may be trying to change their passwords and aren't seeing the reset emails show up.

Also for GGG you might let your customer support people know that there may be issues with Yahoo! Mail users getting the password reset emails (again they were not showing up in the spam folder) and that adding support@grindinggear.com may help them receive the email properly.

I'm just happy I was able to get this fixed and now I can play again.
