How to gear up/what to do after leveling (66-70 lvl)?

I started playing PoE a couple days ago. So i have found some builds and created totem chieftain. Im wondering what to do right now, should i try to get lvl70 in the dried lake and buy/trade items? I died too much at the end of the act and couldnt lvl up. Also i played some maps, but some bosses are extremely hard because they have one-shotting aoe.

i saw you have a lvl 68 char, its good enough to start mapping but you seem to have problems with the build if you say youre getting one shotted . Make your chars public so people can help
Yeah make your characters page public so we can see your gear and tree. You shouldn't be getting one shot anywhere at this point, much less Dried Lake.

I'm not dying in Dried Lake, i was oneshotted in dreams (end of act 4), i got lvl 70 in Dried lake right now. I want to know the idea of progressing my character after leveling. Its only mapping? I think if i buy some items, i will farm them quite good. Seems i made chars page public.

Grind currency in dried lake. With breaches, you can stay in even longer than usual. I usually grind lakes until 75ish then map. With breach i was able to get decent XP until about 82ish. I wouldn't stay that long, but you should definitely grind lakes for a while. Since you are playing a warchief build, you can just focus on killing rare packs and rush Voll. Voll should be pretty easy for your totems.

Get some gems leveled up and start looking at gear pieces for your build. Upgrade a piece at a time.

Thank you. I found some cheap gear for start in the guide, so i have x3 dps and more survivability.
Yes, endgame is mapping. There are alternatives like farming the end-game labyrinth (a level 75 zone), or farming Atziri/Uber Atziri, Breachlords, Pale Council, etc.

Looking at your gear, a lot of the rares have either no life rolls, or terrible rolls. You want decent life rolls on most every piece of gear you can get it on. Also make sure you cap your elemental resists. You ideally want 4.5K life to start mapping, more if you can get it. As you progress through maps, 6-7K is more what your life total goal should be.
