mail or suggestions forum for getting your ideas implemented ingame?

if i want to see some of my ideas in the game, should i focus mainly on the forum or should i try to mail my idea somehow?
i really like PoE and while i believe it it's a great game to play every now and then and i like the fact other people get their ideas added into the game, i feel that a milestone for me is to have a couple of my own ideas added ingame.

i got the topic from ziggy and chris's disccusion about it and i saw the question and answer about how many ideas actually get through but i'm still unsure whether main is a better option or the forum...

well there is a location devs respond to complaints inbetween hours, look for potential exploits after new stuff got released and try to calm down shitstorms after nerfs.

this or start streaming to get noticed.
