Good skill for CwC Scorching Ray?

Flame Surge is a bit too short
Vortex is casted right under my feet
Firestorm is at the end of beam.

Any ideas?

to manny spells to choose from

not really
as I would be using 2 active spells in one link, getting 2 fire spells would be best choice due to taken fire damage and burning damage nodes
eventually some ice spell with pyre ring conversion

that's why I asked
CwC is actually very limited to choose spells that will work as we want to.

arc + Elemental equilibrium , if you go elementalist you get 25% pen aswell.

Fireball not to your liking? Its great single target damage while Scorching Ray is providing AoE for you and is ripping resist for the Fireballs.

None.

You don't want a fire skill or it will interfere with your EE.

You don't want another element as it won't benefit from your fire and burn scaling.

Just stick with 6L SR and have OoS proccing EE, EO and cursing.

SRS. Fire damage. Fire and forget. No downside.

So Scorching Ray does not count as hit? I mean I can't trigger EE with SR?

Scorching Ray + CwC + Flame Surge
SR- won't trigger EE
but FS will and it reduce dmg of SR?


in that case CwC doesn't seem good. Better give FS to totem
