Scorching ray and few game crashes
In few words, to check new gem i respecced my templar to hierophant
Received couple crashes using that gem with ele focus/cont dest/r decay/spell totem (if links matter) Played the game after recent patch for a bit and didnt have single crash, if that helps also here is a piece of log file approximately to time of last crash

I can confirm this, scorching ray will crash your game for some reason

pathofexile.exe has stopped working.
Over and over and over. Only when using Scorching Ray, so far only in dx11. I've switched back to dx9 and it hasn't happened since. Support a free Hong Kong.

Nope, just happened in DX9.
Seems to happen with lots of stuff on the screen, most common in breaches. Support a free Hong Kong.

It has happened twice to me while using scorching ray. But for some reason it crashed when the rogue exile who used flameblast charged flameblast.

I'm also having the same issue since Legacy (I think - there's a chance I might have had the issue sooner, but in Breach and Essence I was playing almost strictly SSF, and I wasn't using this skill)
I crashed in a rota twice when someone was using scorching ray and then I tested it myself and can repro the crash. I tried the ggpk fixer to no avail, I'm going to try a clean install now. | |
Crashed 3 times in the last 30 min using Scorching Ray. Only happens when I'm playing on my Scorching Ray char. Any ETA on a fix? Using dx9
