Need Help with Avatar of Winter

Currently in Death and Taxes and ended up dealing ZERO damage to the second boss form.
Using Flameblast elementalist with shitloads of fire penetration.

Anyone that can help me out?

The boss must be defeated in each circle phase. After defeating him in a circle phase, he enters a transition phase where he will take zero damage until you bring him to the next circle. After the last circle, he will die upon being defeated.

Means i have to pull him towards another circle?

Yes.

If he has a Descry symbol (the eyeball+cross symbol you see all over the place), it means that it is time to kite him to the next phase.

beware of his Ice nova, it has ridiculous damage and AoE:)
