Can someone explain Deadeye "Far Shot" notable
Projectile attacks gain up to 30% more damage the further they travel.
Pretty straight forward I get that however.. The scion has a similar node, but it's global "projectiles" so as a point of reference, Ice spear and ball lightning clearly have different "maximum distances" they can travel. So my question really is, do projectiles gain the 30% more damage at the maximum distance it can travel or is there a hidden actual distance threshold that must be met, for it to achieve the damage bonus. I'm making a build (spectral throw) and based on my logic "Slower projectiles" should make Far Shot activate faster since it reduces the maximum distance a projectile must travel before reaching it's distance cap. Unlike Point Blank which has a clearly outlined distance guide, Far Shot does not so im only left to assume. The wiki has no information on this. Last bumped on Oct 5, 2016, 12:28:58 PM

" Actually, Point Blank doesn't have one either, it changed a few patches ago and we don't know the exact stats anymore. Anyway, both effects operate on set distance that is the same for all skills, if your projectile doesn't reach the required distance for maximum damage bonus it won't get it. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" oh lol didn't know point blank got bricked. Hmm I see just wondering since I want to use slower projectile in my main setup and ofc since ST return leg counts as distance travelled, just really wanted to know how far is far lol. Thanks :). |

" It didn't, we don't know the details but were were told that the damage dropoff is slower so it's actually better than before. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
