Fire Nova Repeat Damage

Hey,

The repeat damage says it does more damage per repeat.

Is the more damage based on the first novas damage or does it multiply by the previous novas damage?

Example with 100 damage on first nova with 25% more damage per repeat.

Nova 1: 100
Nova 2: 125
Nova 3: 150
Nova 4: 175

Or is it multiplicative from the previous nova.
Nova 1: 100
Nova 2: 125
Nova 3: 156.25 (125*1.25)
Nova 4: 195.3125 (156.25*1.25)
