I crafted this item with Screaming Essence of Woe [Helmet: (49-60) to maximum Energy Shield]

With a divine can it roll 49 to 72 to maximum Energy Shield (Blazing)

or will it never go higher than 60? is it capped by the essence i crafted it with ??

I think it's limited to the essence's range. Most likely the essence mods are completely independent from normal mods, much like master mods are.

That helmet is hardly divine-worthy anyway.
