Adjacent maps need to have higher drop priority than non-adjacent maps.

Otherwise, once you've fully completed the Atlas, the Atlas itself becomes almost completely pointless That is, completely pointless outside of Sextants, and a pretty thing to look at once in a while. What was the point of introducing a spatial mechanic if a lot of people won't even use that space??? (when they're done with the Atlas)?

It really bothers me when work goes to waste, and Sextants are obviously optional. I really don't want the Atlas to be pointless after reaching 125/125 or whatever the maximum is. Please add at least a small bias to adjacent maps over non-adjacent maps if there isn't already.

Thanks, GGG! Cool expansion.

Somewhat unrelated feedback: Lol, Tier 1 Jungle Valley? I got closer to death on a Magic (sextant'd for fire damage) Jungle Valley than I did on Tier 9 rare Reef Map.

Agree there.

And when you start on the Atlas, starting and focusing on only one side means ridiculously low drop rates.

I read on the forum people pretending that the droprate is the same, no matter how many map you have discovered and that it only influences what map drop, not the rates : this seem like a blatant lie, so much.

PS : no problem for jungle valley if you have enough clearing power for the boss room.

Also, maps that you've shaped should have a slight drop priority over others of the same tier.

Eg. I love Dunes map, now even more than pre 2.4, so I've shaped it to T10. But since I've unlocked all T10, I see Dunes 1/X times, or even less because of RNG variance.

My bet here is that if you had unlocked only 4 t10, you would see dunes 1 on 5 but .... it does not mean that you would get many more of it, it's definitely how the game feels right now to me.
