did you update your catalyst driver to the latest version?

I've been through numerous crimson drivers including the latest 16.10.1. However, I found the the drivers from 16.8.x onward worse than the older drivers for my card. I'm now using 16.7.1 again.

I certainly don't discount the possibility of an issue at my end, however, I'm personally unable to interpret the error presented in the WinDbg:

FAULTING_IP:
atiumdag+ac6d5
724dc6d5 0fb644d701 movzx eax,byte ptr [edi+edx*8+1]

It's obviously amd related but AMD have been less then responsive and I can't find anything related via search. Although there seems to be plenty of atiumdag.dll+game error posts all over the place.

I also don't understand why, in some of the event logs, the file atiumdag.dll is referenced in 'C:\Windows\System32':

"

Faulting application name: PathOfExile.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x57ec7129
Faulting module name: atiumdag.dll, version: 21.19.137.1, time stamp: 0x57dc3f98

Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\atiumdag.dll
Report Id: 0f0bd7ad-8af6-11e6-9757-94de80212924

whereas, it has never existed in that location with any of the drivers I've used. Moreover, In some cases, the file isn't referenced at all:

"
Faulting application name: PathOfExile.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x57ec7129

In this case it's just the PoE executable and whichever module caused the fault remains unknown.

I would say that looking around these forums and reddit, you'll see plenty of "PoE has stopped working" error messages and I would guess, if people took the time to check the logs, they'd see it's been caused by the Access Violation bug check.

I'll continue researching the issue but I might as well keep reporting these errors as they happen.
