Vaal fireball

Hello ,I play elementalist and have linked a vaal fireball with spell echo.
My question is : Is it a bug when you cast Vaal Fireball but it consumes your charges and doesn't cast it? From my observation this happens sometimes when I am hitted by monster and I hit "R" for Vaal Fireball the charges are consumed by the magic isn't casted at all! Is it that I get stunned or pushback making casting result in failure and also consuming the stacked souls? Last bumped on Sep 9, 2016, 6:30:21 AM

You're getting Stunned out of the cast, yeah. It's intentional that this consumes the Souls.
