Butal fervor + ghost reaver

Yeah sorry for the silly question but I don t figure the thing out: does brutal fervor work with ghost reaver? So, can I leech eshield with that rate if I go gr?

If you are going CI, it clearly says the bonuses are based on life. So your bonus would be based on 1 life.

If you are going low-life, there are some possibilities there. The only problem you will have is that you will not have enough ES when starting as slayer for a long time. Even then going CI/Lowlife is not easy nor efficient as a slayer. You're better off rolling as a shadow if you want to explore CI/leech mechanics.

The new gloves 'Shaper's Touch' can help with ES as a Duelist. Especially if you are ES/Life hybrid.

Note that you can also get a *lot* of ES as a duelist by getting all the shield defenses nodes. But you would need to us a shield for that, so Gladiator seems like a better choice than slayer.

Actually I was wondering about the relation between leech and eschield since neither berserker and slayer could take advantage by their "leech" with a ci build.
I think that gloves could be really good with some aegis build tho

Small note. Even with CI Life Leech will be based on your actual max HP, not the 1 HP you are fixated to. It works similar to Stun or Status Ailments.

However given how huge ES pools get Ghost Reaver doesn't really work without Vaal Pact or other Instant Leech. If you have a mediocre crit chance getting Ghost Reaver and Aquity would be an option since the non crits would leech slow enough to get the benefit from Brutal Fervor while the crits leech instant to sustain your ES pool.

When you use Ghost Reaver, your leech characteristics are changed to use your max ES to scale the rate and max rate. The +% of max life to leech rate should get changed to apply to max ES instead.


However, the 'leech effects are not removed at full life' from Endless Hunger does not get translated over to apply to being full ES, so ES Slayers kinda miss out on one of the biggest factors of using a Slayer.
