My helmet states that it should give Bladefall 60% increased critical strike chance. However, it does not have any effect. Bladefall shows 5% crit chance regardless.

Are you looking at the Character sheet?
If yes: do you have any other Crit Chance bonuses or penalties (Controlled Destruction)? | |

Make sure Bladefall is selected when looking at the Character Sheet.
