Lag and disconnect issues

I've been playing PoE since closed beta and I love this game. Unfortunately, I have lag and disconnect issues. In closed beta, lag wasn't much of an issue but I'd get the odd disconnect after 0.5 - 2 hours of playing (apparently from lag spikes using my wireless internet which timed out the game). While not ideal, I was more than happy with the game in this state.

Currently, I can't even play PoE for more than 15 minutes without major lag and disconnections. Sometimes it's hard to get to the next waypoint without being disconnected. I assume it's because of the extra load on the servers due to open beta.

As much as I want to play this game, I don't think I can do it anymore until the server issues are addressed. I'd be willing to pay $50 for this game if it were single player so I don't have to deal with the online issues but that just isn't an option.

Oh well...Torchlight 2 here I come....again...(sigh)
