Got Hacked... Characters deleted...

So I made my actual account about 2-3 days ago. Today I made my forum account on this website, immediately afterwards my characters got deleted... I know I wasn't too far but I completed the game once and had some cool stuff I liked. Should I change my email and password?

This may not be a hack. Seeing some people reporting activation on website overwriting game accounts. Not sure how GGG has gone about dealing with this though.

Ahh, actually that makes a lot of sense, I'm not too angry or anything like that though, I'm just gonna re-roll and try something else out :) Maybe they should warn people about it? If they do then its purely my fault for not reading it up.

contact support, im pretty sure they can fix this for you and restore your chars. Forum and game account = the same account.
