At what act will we awake in oriath to realize Wraeclast was an illusionary prison ?

Well, what the title reads. At what act do you think we will awake from this dream to realize that it was just a perverted illusion/dream that we have been forced into?

What are your thoughts ?

Legit!
We realise this at the end of Act 3, of course! Dominus spoils it for us.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

That doesn't have to mean our Character realizes that this is the truth. This could be some metaphorical thing. And we don't awake in act 3.

Never, i hope. "You wake up" is one of the worst narrative "tricks" to use. It kills whole pen&paper sessions, it kills everything. Especially when you are talking about a game like PoE that needs so god damn much effort. Why do you think that this would be the case? Are there some hints from GGG that this could be a thing? I really hope not ;)
The Sirus fight is a disgrace.
I've been stating in some of my posts for awhile now that Dominus was correct in what he states when he dies that "this world is an illusion". He knows that GGG are the Talosian overlords that are controlling this simulation and everything that exile's experience is just implanted in our brains. That also explains why Act 4 is so bad compared to the first 3 in that as time goes on the Talosians have less and less physical activity and are slowly going mad. That ties in very nicely with very old school arpg gaming and Wraeclast is just "The proving grounds of the mad overlord".

The other possible thought line is that Wraeclast is a "Matrix" world where nothing exiles interact with is real. After all, if it was physically possible (take VR technology to the limits) to simulate an entire world then how would we be able to know that we are not living our lives in a huge simulation. Our brains wouldn't be able to tell real from simulated.

Do we live in the Matrix?
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

I'm expecting us to discover somewhere around Act 6 that in defeating Malachai we freed the Beast and the entirety of Act 5 was us having been consumed by the Beast and acting in a twisted dream vision, completing quests for npcs that didn't actually exist.

Alternatively, killing Malachai frees the Beast and now things have been messed up and we need to travel to Oriath to loot Dominus' original notes on the Beast so that we can contain the Beast once more.
And we travel to Oriath by returning to previous acts of the game, except things have been messed up so we have to take special portals to various, higher-level and corrupted locations in previous Acts.
A ship is anchored at the Sarn Docks, however the Blackguard sailors are all dead so we need a captain and crew (Hellooo Fairgraves).
And of course we need navigation charts which are located in a chest in the Ship Graveyard.
And so on for the main quest for that Act.

After the 9th act you realize that Path of Exile was just a computer game all along and there's a whole world outside your house.

Flip the acts around and play through them sorta "backwards" but they are all corrupted/tainted/etc. I like this. Seems simple to storyboard as well.
