Bugs galore - cannot click on doors

You might say that's my fate for using summons - most of the time they agglutinate on the doorstep (I wish I could say they do the same on mobs but they usually dont, they prefer doors).
However!!! Even if they stay out of my LMB line-of-sight, I STILL cannot click on doors. Once in a lifetime, they shine as "selected" then in the split of a second, they go black again.

Is there any "Open Sesame" other than LMB? I'd be crushed to bits if there isn't.
