Abyssus and the Lab

Do you guys at GGG have any intention of not applying the "increase physical damage taken" from Abyssus to traps damage in the future ?

Because basically, going to the endgame lab wearing abyssus at the moment is just like suicide, I've done couple of trials in maps, but I'm done for now on this char, because it is just too rippy with abyssus.
And removing the helmet while runing the lab isn't exactly super fun :/.

( Also it seems like lightning warp was not teleporing me exactly where I was clicking this morning, which makes a BIG difference in those situations. The destination coordinates were slightly different, maybe was clicking on unwalkable terrain, but sometimes the visibility is just not great in lab.
Did LW's basic mechanics change recently or os it just me ? )

abyssus in poe in general is a bad idea. It also affects bloodrage/bleed
Abyssus is for tooltip warriors like me who are also softcore nubs. It's pretty balanced in my opinion, as 40% increased puts damage taken is pretty big
Sure, the lab can be hard, but it's pretty easy if you're properly geared, and not terrible at the game.

It's the only thing that allows an actual FB CI build basically.
That's not just for the tooltip.

This is not a thread whether Abyssus needs buff / nerf or not, it's about its interaction with traps from the lab.

Never had problem with corrupted blood as an example.
For normal bleeding it scales on the hit damage, so no problem there, can be mitigated and can the bleeding can be purged after.

I've been playing weird facebreakers since forever and I always used abyssus. (need a 5+ link that doesn't include mpd or faster atks)

The lab is the least problem of abyssus... you just take off the hat until you need it for izaro.

40% increased damage is a lot but the best thing about physical damage is it's the most controllable in this game, even more so now that basalts exist and endurance charge availability even more . If you know what you are fighting and you build high armour then abyssus is really fine. Unfortunately pure armour isn't that great and you don't always know what you're fighting. You need to be able to reliably get around 40-50k armour and a basalt + endurance charges means you can 90% redux everything (on physical hits below 5k) which is like getting hit with 86% redux without abyssus...

One weakness is you'll get double dipped on bleed and are heavily flask reliant, and fortify is weaker for abyssus instead of 20% redux you get like 14% (20/140 instead of 20/100)

And I used abyssus when I used to think abyssus (and shock) would crush your armour due to physical dmg vs armour formula (it doesn't, it's like negative fortify).
