Damage conversion and armour.
Does damage conversion further reduce the % of physical damage because of monster armour?
I mean, if I hit for 100 physical damage to a monster with 500 armour: 10 * 100^2 / 500 + 10 * 100 = 100,000 / 1,500 ~ 66 damage If I hit for 100 physical damage with 50% fire damage conversion to the same monster: 10 * 50^2 / 500 + 10 * 50 = 25,000 / 1,000 = 25 damage 25 physical damage instead of half of 66 = 33. Does it work like this or is the full strength of the hit used to calculate armour reduction? Last bumped on May 30, 2016, 7:06:48 PM

" Yes. Except monsters don't have that much armour, so you should be fine. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Yes, your damage output is 50 physical / 50 fire, each part will be mitigated separately.
Fortunately, it isn't an issue, monsters have very low armor relative to our damage per hit. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
