***** Path of Exile with *NIX/BSD / KVM Xen bypass HELP PLEASE! *****

Hey goys, I know quite of a few Linux players are playing with WINE, and are lurking on this tech section, if you are could you provide me with some information about your box setup, userland info (kernel, libs, driver) and WINE config - especially if you use a non-systemd distro.

I read the writeup here, http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Path_of_Exile_on_Wine && https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/8980, and the guides seems fairly reasonable and extremely easy to follow but problem is that I don't use systemd/Debian derivatives as dom0 or host NOR stand alone, so was wondering if I make WINE from source, download other dependencies and adjust a bit it would work - though I could use GRUB and install Xubuntu/Mint as well but I rather not get Lennart Poettering'd.

However I am much more interested in using VM bypass as I host other OS for other task
So are there anyone here thats using IOMMU/VM/PCI/vt-x/vt-d Pass-through with Xen or KVM? Can I get some headsup on your setup as well, especially your hardware spec rundown :D

Anyone playing with FreeBSD? Pray provide some information! Would love to learn :DDDD

Why do you want to use PoE across multiple computers with a KVM? Unless you're playing the market, and in that case, your competitors will most likely not want to give you any advice to get ahead of them in that arena.

As for FreeBSD, it's a great distro for BSD, but stick to Linux if you want to game.

And from what you mentioned about Wine, and linked everything else, it seems you already know how to play PoE on other platforms.

The official Wine thread should be there to discuss anything regarding that emulation.

God damn you saw right through me with the KVM and wanting to play on BSD, I guess I'll lurk a little while then config all my WINE stuff after release date/trouble-shooting.
