[2.6 Video Guide] The Taming Ember's Vortex Elementalist [HC/SC & Atziri Viable (Possibly Uber)]

For a more detailed explanation of the build check out the video guide: The Taming Ember's Vortex Elementalist [HC/SC & Atziri Viable (Possibly Uber)]

Proof of Atziri viability with horrible gear, 0 preparation and not even proper flasks to do it smoothly:

Is this build for you?

1. If you want to look like a lawnmower and GGG still haven't released the MTX for it?

2. You want to go back to the good days of elemental proliferation?

3. You want to look like a cyclone build but think cyclone builds are boring!

4. If you just want to play something different that still is highly effective

5. You're looking for a build with a video guide to it

Defence & Utility

With the use of Warlord's Mark we are generating life & mana leech as well as endurance charges that can be used for a proper extremely high duration CWDT Immortal Call proc!
The build can be used in both evasion as well as armour gear.

You'll have tons of open sockets to play around with, you could have multiple CWDT setups and/or throw in a few extra Vaal spells! The utility options are endless!

Skill-gems & Setups:

Blade Vortex

- Blade Vortex, Spell Echo, Added Fire, Controlled Destruction, Physical to Lightning, Increased AoE (Can be changed for Concentrated Effect vs boss fights)

Auras:

- Clarity

Golem:

- Lightning Golem

Curses:

- Blasphemy, Warlord's Mark, Elemental Weakness

Optional:

- Flame Dash, Faster Casting
- CWDT, Immortal Call, Molten Shell, Increased Duration
- Spell Totem, Summon Skeletons

__________________________________________________________________________

Skill-tree & Ascendancy Nodes:

Ascendancy Nodes:
Start with taking "Shaper of Desolation" to generate your shocks, chill & ignitions and second node to pick up is the "Beacon of Ruin" to proliferate them all! After this we'll be taking "Pendulum of Destruction" or "Liege of the Primordial", personally I prefer Pendulum due to the fact that the Lightning Golem dies every now and then!

Leveling skill-tree, 25 points

Leveling skill-tree, 64 points

Leveling skill-tree, 92 points

Finished skill-tree

Leveling Tips:

1. Use Fire Trap / Freezing Pulse till you can equip yourself with Blade Vortex then use that to level with all the way. In act 2 I'd recommend picking up all 3 Heralds to use whilst LvLing all the way till you start working with your ascendancy nodes.

2. Items such as Goldrim, Lifesprig, Wunderlust helps a lot to speed up the leveling process.

3. If you get a Tabula Rasa early on, I'd recommend using Elreon jeweleries early on to ease up on the mana cost.

Bandits:

- Normal: Help Oak: 40+ Life.
- Cruel: Kill them all for 1 extra skill point.
- Merciless: Kill them all for 1 extra skill point.

great build as always!
How do you do atziri with this build? Since atziri is ignite immune you wont do nearly any damage?

Her main phase is the only phase immune to ignite and shock. In her split phase only the version casting Flameblasts is immune to ignite and the one casting thunderstorms is immune to shocking so you pre-cast Blade Vortex in the middle during phase change, throw a Vaal Lightning Trap under the one with the spear and pop Writhing Jar flasks make sure you have reduced flask charges used on belt mod and top rolled flasks so you can get 3 casts out per flask and bring 3 flasks for that fight. You'll have Elemental Conflux guaranteed and can ignite the clone so she dies whilst the main phase is all about dodging her spells like any other build.

I've never, ever been required to provide proof of my builds being able to run Atziri. But I guess I'm simply no longer known in the PoE community it seems.

Either way, I ran in with my way to low lvld, 0 prepared, shitty geared character and recorded it for you. Uploading it as I'm typing this.

Lacking gear, lvls, even proper flasks, got a slight missplay on the trio-boss and i had to refill flasks vs Atziri due to only bringing 2 Writhing Jar's vs her.

Posting Vid link soon

Glad you like it bro!
The build is strictly made to have fun with, I'm sure there are better ways of approaching this build but in the end, as long as people are having fun with it, I'm happy! :)
