Chance orbs: does unique chance depend on item base / target item?

As the title says: does the chance to create a unique item from some base item using an Orb of Chance depend on the target unique's rarity?

As an example: assume I have 50 Glorious Plates and 50 Copper Plates and throw Orbs of Chance at both of them. Do I have a higher chance to get a Solaris Lorica from the Copper Plates than I have to get a Kaom's Heart from the Glorious Plates?

Yes, it depends.
The Wheel of Nerfs turns, and builds come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the build that gave it birth comes again.

This depends on the rarity tier of the unique item that you are after .

You're more likely to get Lorica will less orbs compared to Kaom's in theory but then there is RNG .
Some people get 6 link in 2 fuses , some can't get 6 link in 4500 .

spoiler : the casino always wins
