Another build that sinks because of chromatic system

Here i am in the useless(but relieves frustration...) feedback session to complain about chromatic slavery system, which is completely rng based and forces the player to slave/farm for chromatics just to have fun playing with his items.

So yeah, just another comment butthurt by that broken chromatic system, which doesn't allow you get the colors if you have the chromatics, you just will have to be lucky, because VORICI just allow some tweaks that may take forever(and takes if you have my rng... can't even play some gems because of this... beautiful thing). It's not like 6l something, if you don't want to play dumb rng, you just get 1500 fusings... or 6 socket items, which you get 350 jewellers. NO, you will farm the chromatics like an online slave(wtf, it's suppose to be fun farming to see your char progress, not that torture to face some random and unfair thing), then you go to vorici and your result? If you are rng lucky, nice, if not, go back to farm currency to be able TO PLAY with your items. I mean, how people just see this as ok? It just takes out the game's diversity.

I won't slave farm to do a build i know the chromatic system will shit on. You need 3 red + 1 green on a vaal regalia to play with(i know noone will try). It's a viper strike bino's crit blocker ci taking advantage of the gem melee physical dmg on full life. main skill link would be: melee phys + melee phys on full + increased critical strikes + viper strike + multistrike (60 crit base, won't use charges, bandits all/all/all)

Ascendancy: gladiator for the block + reckless defense with 4 block + shield with at least 31 block/105 es + tempest shield to reach phys max block(spell block is max without the gladiator passive)

And that's it, chromatic system make the game only theory crafting sometimes because my rng sucks(hard) and i don't wanna get more frustrated with chromatic, just will do the obvious builds, and the ones which would give me fun, will leave in theory because the game doesn't want people having fun/freedom(lol) sometimes.

Sounds like you have fallen into the melee CI noob trap that one of the devs was talking about on some podcast lol .

So you need 3 red + 1 green on a vaal regalia why don't you use Vorici and i'm not talking about the 3 red sockets option. Or go for rng and just spam chromatics.

Really isnt that bad compared to some of the combinations i have done.

if that is too much for you, then consider running an ES Atziri splendor.
It is really easy to roll any combo on it

You can also try rolling reduced attribute requirements. Then chrom, then scour and craft.

I like this way of fixing, perhaps buffing this affix, dont really know what else its really used for.

432 chromatics on average. For my 3r3b Vaal Regalia it was 115 Chromatics. Wasn't too bad - took a while cause I needed quite a lot more, but I got it in the end. Funny side note: I did hit 5 off colors in the process.

Chromatic coloring is completely fine if you ask me.

I loot over 2,000 chromes per week, passively. I've always said that socket-orbs were the most balanced of all the orbs as they are actually available without trade ultimately more than needed. But since loot filters and Vorici, I never thought I'd see another chrome QQ thread from even the most casual self found player, never mind anybody with access to poe.trade and the billions of over-saturation chromatics that are out there.

You have 275% increased defences from shield... with just 2 additional points that could become 355% increased...

Why do you even need a chest with super fat es? may as well go incandescent heart instead because 25% more es vs elemental damage and leech or just any hybrid chest. Just give up on the vaal regalia if you hate chromes so much ...

and I think chromes are the easiest self-found thing anything, like the poster above me has demonstrated has said. in new leagues I typically have more wealth in chromes (sad yes) than every other orb combined by the time I reach maps.

Most of my CI melee builds do the same thing with just getting a decent shield and use whatever garbage budget chest I can for colours or links.
