What is the definition of Nearby Enemies
Augury of Penitence:
Nearby Enemies deal 5% less Elemental Damage Nearby Enemies Take 10% increased Elemental Damage So how near/far do enemies have to be to be affected? I've searched the forums for the meaning of this term and nada. Any help would be much appreciated. Last bumped on Mar 15, 2016, 8:08:40 AM

It isn't an exact term, it just means there's some distance involved. On some effects it's almost screen wide and on others it's as low as 20-30 units.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

OK just tried it out at the cost of 10 regrets (20 when I respec back)
It appears as a highlight circle around affect mobs, and probably covers a radius around the play to about half the screen. It only appears to work line of sight from the player, so not great for totem players that like to hide behind obstacles or hover nearly a screen away. I'll play with it a little more, but playing dual totems, I think its usefulness is extremely limited for my build. I'll probably go back to instruments of virtue using leap slam linked to accuracy, fortify and faster attacks, but I was getting fed up of the 4 second twisting of casting(totems/curse) and leap slam, which also puts me in considerable danger in higher maps. However it does give a very considerable dps boost to my flame totems. |
