{3.0} Necronomicon / Raise Spectre Monster Info...[The Unofficial Minion Wiki]

very nice guide, much appreciated!
ok i just tested a few more minions this morning and found that

- Noisome Ophidian
- Wandering eye
- Gut Spiker could have been amazing but will wait up to 10 seconds to use its ranged attack

all have great attacks but they do not use their main attacks very often so they go in Bad tier

- Undying Archivist

The archivist would be fucking the best minion hands down IF (keyword) they did not wait 5 seconds between each cast of freezing pulse

- Devourer these guys are like revenants on crack BUT their entry into shit tier is that they do not move from where they are sitting unless you move

then they are underground for a few seconds or you convocation it

These are what i have tested today

These are all the gems and staves (gems in staves also) that i have been using for all my test

(a lot of chroms prolly close to 3k have been used to get the best testing numbers i can get for dmg on all of my tests)

Hi, I played a poison Raise Zombie build last league (that build barely got nerfed btw and was easy as pie to use, fave summoner out of the 3 I've played so far), and I got to test out a bunch of UTILITY spectres. These are good if you're not looking for damage:

Ice Shot statues (can be found in any map with statues -- market tileset, hedge maze, lunaris tileset all have 100% spawn rates)
These shoot ice shot, and they do it frequently enough. If you're looking for chilled ground you can use GMP and Inc Duration + minion life I guess.

Plumed Chimerals (hard to find, sometimes in Jungle Valley, sometimes in Cemetery...? not always in Terrace, surprisingly.)
The AI on Plumed Chimerals prevents them from being really top-tier :/ Their Suppressing Fire is a unique debuff, and goes really well with something like Ice Shot CoH and/or Temp Chains. I liked using Minion Life, GMP, and Blind. Faster Attacks didn't work as well as I expected, nor did Minion Speed, but I liked MS more between the two. You need at least 3 of them to get a satisfying frequency of volleys, and attack speed doesn't seem to help :/

Noisome Ophidian (Belly of the Beast/Harvet tilesets, sometimes Pit...?)
These are really nice because they throw down tarred ground in a large aoe with GMP. Having more than one at a time is kind of pointless though, tarred ground doesn't stack and isn't THAT useful.

Knitted Horror (Dried Lake etc)
In my Raise Zombie setup these counted as utility, they were extra AOE/aggro with a giant healthpool. Good for clear-speed.

Towering Figment (SOME of the giant statues in Grand Arena / Arena map)
These are decent added single-target but to be honest I barely noticed them when I dropped them. They look pretty cool with the Stygian effect though :3 and their Puncture damage is theoretically really good (poedb lists it at either 50% or 150% of the original hit per second as bleed, which double-dips with minion damage).

Other people mentioned Frenzy apes as a good choice, I found those things to be annoying and to not buff up my zombies often enough, but if other people are having success I can't argue with that.

So those are just my thoughts on some spectres I tested last league!

Undying Incinerators + GMP + Pierce/Cluster Traps/chain/elemental focus + MinonDamage + Spell Echo + FirePen

Are you sure about chain? From what I remember their projectile attack have 100% pierce, and chain just doesn't work. And why you never mention Controlled Destruction? I think it is stronger than fire pen as long you are using EE + at least one of Elemental weakness/flammability.

I definitely see their projectiles chaining so maybe it might be some chance to pierce or it just seems like it is?

I think Firepen just helps in general vs curse immune maps and rares and high fire res maps. Its not that off in terms of damage. Anything below 0% resist is more damage for your spectre.

If you look up bleed or poison on poe.wiki you notice that there is a minion tag listed in the damage scaling section. Lets say your zombie deals 1000 flat damage. You have 100% minion damage . You now deal 2000 damage as physical. Poison is .1 of that 2000 dmg per s for 2s. So 400 damage over 2s. The double dipping occurs b/c minion damage stat boosts the poison again. So now its 400 * 1.5 = 600 poison over 2s. The minion damage stat itself is used to apply to your minion damage twice.

When did 100% minion damage become 50%? Shouldn't it be 400*2, not *1.5?

Also, poe.wiki is a domain for sale, not a website.

Very nice guide thank you for all the work . JUst whish GGG whould make it so that when we log we dont lose our specters or a "save" option on the gem so that we dont have to loose so much time summoning our specters.
