Spell totems Wont Apply Curse on hit, tooltip says otherwise.
Gem Setup is Spell Totem + Arc + Faster Casting + Innervate + Curse On Hit + Conductivity

The tooltip says you'll cast the curse when you hit with the totem, not when the totem hits something with a spell. And since you can't hit anything with a totem it doesn't curse anything.

Still a misleading tooltip and needs to be changed. Built a level 70 character just to find out tooltip lied and character not viable. This isnt the first time this type of thing has happend to me either. Had a similar experience with curses not procing with traps either. Getting tired of this crap, about to ragequit.

Misleading is not bugged, and while it would be nice to see a change i don't think it's quite so easy as you think or it would have been done in 2012 before the game went into the open beta.
